Betty Bowl Bonnets

Make gorgeous bonnets to use in place of plastic wrap on bowls, plates, and more, to keep food fresh in the fridge or on the go. Use a Betty when taking or gifting a covered dish or holiday cookie plate. Make in any size needed based on the size of your dishes, up to 14in across. Measure your dish, then fuse a little, cut a little, sew a little and done! Pattern dish sizes: 7in bowl, 11in plate. NOTE: DO NOT MICROWAVE OR USE IN OVEN

Supplies Makes 1 Plate & 2 Bowl Bonnets:
 1/2 yard fabric, 40in wide
1 yard x 17in Slicker Iron-On Glossy Vinyl from Lazy Girl SLG1021 yards
Fold-Over Elastic, 5/8in or 3/4in wide (15mm or 20mm)

Slicker Iron-On Glossy Vinyl -  Fuse this project-sized Slicker to any smooth fabric to make it water-resistant. Fuse to paper to laminate signs, artwork and more. Can be stitched without leaving adhesive residue on sewing machine needle. Perfect for items that clean up with a wipe.
